Thermal Baths of Amoudara

Ammoudara thermal springs are 16 km away from Kastoria and 4 km from Argos Orestiko. The volcanic subsoil retained flora and fauna fossils that testify that once the area was part of the seabed, it also created sulfur sources with known healing properties.

The hydrotherapy center is located in a beautiful and healthy natural environment. The area of the baths is of great historical and archaeological interest. The fossil forest of Nostimos with its impressive palaeontological finds and the Roman city of Diocletianoupolis, which was founded after the conquest by the Romans, next to Aliakmonas River, at the Armenohori site, is considered to be of great importance.
