The modern winery of the Mangel estate is surrounded by a vineyard and is located in Kastoria just outside the village of Koromilia on a privately owned site.
The winery houses a modern production and bottling line with the necessary equipment as well as an underground cellar equipped with French oak barrels.
The bottles are stored in French wooden pallets in an underground area for maturation and aging, the temperature is maintained at 12-14°C. Indicative of the quality is the fact that the vinification of the red wine takes place in oak tanks.
The vineyard of the estate at an altitude of 700 - 900 meters receives the cool breeze of Grammos which together with the "Agyami" the uric wind that blows over the lake of Kastoria gives the diversity to the wines of the estate.
Thus, with know-how, effort and experience, the result is the production of wines bearing the Mangel brand.
The varieties grown on the estate are Greek Malagouzia, Agiorgitiko, and Xinomavro.
International Pinot noir, Tannat, Cabernet Frank, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc.
Finally, the annual production of the Magel estate reaches 25 - 30 thousand bottles.
